Banjo is in, and in this video I'm playing the traditional jam version. There are a lot of versions of this song, and major keys, and Red Rocking Chair. The lyrics are beautiful poetry and evoke images of a person having trouble with their partner/lover. I love Dock Bogg, and the song still comes across even though it will sound totally different. The Cuckoo Bird: 5-string banjo tutorial by Davey Bob Ramsey

I do wish that I had made it clear where on the fretboard to play the notes of the scale, but I have never set out to copy his version exactly.
